Sivapuranam in Thiruvasagam by Manickkavasagar is one of the deepest hymes thought, sung and written for Sivan.
I am writing the hymes in parts to learn and make deeper understandings of the meaning.
I wish my little ones enjoys learning little spirituality.
!! Thiruvasagam is the eighth volume in Thirumurai and it contains 51 compositions. Thiruvasagam is the only work which is signed as well as written by Shiva in guise of this nayanmar, when narrated by Manikkavasagar. Manikkavasagar is part of Naalvars, one of the top four nayanmars among the 63 Shivaite nayanmars. !!
The palm leaf manuscript had been seen inside the locked sanctum sanctorum of Thillai Nataraja with the Lord Shiva's signature.
